Walk through Bethlehem Due to ongoing renovation work in the church, Walk Through Bethlehem will not be taking place in 2025. We look forward to its return in 2026. Church Building Update Work currently continues on restoring the beautiful rose window at the back of the church. Unity Unity continue to meet alternate Fridays during term time. Free for young people aged 10-16 why not come along and join us? For more information please get in touch! Alpha We are planning to run another Alpha course in the spring of 2026 Alpha offers an opportunity to explore the Christian faith through a series of small group disscuisons and videos. For more information on this please don't hesitate to contact us. WCF Seniors We host our WCF Seniors Lunches once a month. These events are very popular and offer a chance to talk with others, sing songs and enjoy good food! Please get in touch for more information! Visit our Mustard Seed Cafe! The Mustard Seed Cafe is our not-for-profit Cafe for good food, good conversation, and a chance to unwind in an unhurried atmosphere. Following the Way of Jesus! This is an entire life’s pursuit. For us, following Jesus is not simnply expressed at an event on a Sunday, it is a “way” of life, lived out together with a local community of Christians, gathered around the teachings of Jesus. Jesus calls us to be WITH HIM; to LEARN FROM HIM and to be EMPOWERED BY HIM for Mission! To live this way means we need to be transformed, from the inside out, leading to a Holy Spirit created, deep, authentic and radical change of character, acquired through teaching, practice, community, and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, in the presence of; imitating the way of and following the directions of Jesus. Being Church - Together! As a Church, we freely admit that at best we are an imperfect and mixed group of people, who are forgiven by the blood of Jesus and accepted by the grace of God. Nevertheless, Jesus intends that it is through the church's communial life, that we grow and develop into the likeness of Jesus and fulfil His madate for us to make disciples! This is why we gather for public worship; meet together in our Life Groups; pray together at our Connect Meetings; teach and guide our children and young people in WCF Kids and Unity Plus and introduce people to Jesus through our Alpha Groups. Our Church community exists so that we can BE WITH JESUS TOGETHER to help form us to become who He wants us to be! Get to know the elders - John Winter, Mike Fitton, Allan Foster, and Andy Lloyd at Whitby Christian Fellowship. about us Whitby Christian Fellowship is a meeting place for people who love and desire to serve the living God, and for those who are seeking to find out about the Christian faith. We are a member church of the Evangelical Alliance (150562), a movement of Christians around the country who are passionate about changing our communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. We are a family friendly church consisting of young and old, families and individuals. Our purpose as followers of Christ is to spend out lives, being with Jesus; becoming like Jesus and doing what Jesus did! All our different ministries, events and meetings are run with this incarnational goal in mind, so that we might share Jesus' love and compassion with all who come to our community. I take the main responsibility of strategically leading the Church through the teaching of the Word of God and overseeing the provision of pastoral care for the people of our Church. Mike Fitton Hi, I'm married to Sandy and serve as President of Christian Motorbike Association and travel the world seeking to reach bikers for Jesus Christ. I share in the preaching ministry and love to serve WCF in leading their outreach programmes. Allan Foster Hi, I'm married to Deidre and serve the Church in supporting the pastoral needs of the fellowship and taking the primary responsibility for the upkeep and development of our Church building. Andy Lloyd Hi, I'm married to Fiona and serve the Church in supporting the preaching and pastoral ministry of the fellowship and have the primary responsibility for Church administration and finance as well as safeguarding training.

Explore the exciting West Cliff Building Project at Whitby Christian Fellowship. Witness the transformation and restoration of a historic venue. West Cliff Building Project Whitby Christian Fellowship meets at West Cliff Church which is located at the top of Skinner Street in Whitby, YO21 3AH. The building has housed local congregations of Christian believers since 1867 but we took over the lease in June 2021 with the aim of continuing the gospel witness in Whitby for many years to come. Day 1 The work begins... With so much renovation work to do where do you begin? We surveyed the scene and prioritised the tasks that would enable us to open for public worship by the end of June. Onwards and upwards! Key Milestone - Sunday 27 June 2021. First Sunday worship in the new building. As well as our first Sunday for public worship it was our Gift Day for the building and praise God, His provision to us was over £30,000 without us making any public appeal beyond that of our Church community. How good is the God we adore, a seal and a sign of His blessing towards us. Key Milestone - - August 2021 A Multimedia Venue Getting the internet and a good wifi service was a real challenge. Good old BT Openreach got us there for £10 installation when anything between £600-£1000 was been suggested for install. Wiith a little bit of help and some effort of our own, we got there. Another token of Almighty God's provision. Key milestone - March 2024 Sign Restored Scaffolding is down in Church, the roof and walls have now been painted and the si gn has been restored!
